Christmas Craft Fair 11th-12th December 2010

The Christmas Craft Fair took place at Mourne Road Hall, Drimnagh 11th and 12th December. It was organised by the Drimnagh Residents Association who worked very hard and did an excellent job, providing perfect facilities for the participants.

The turnout was not as good as it should have been as, if anyone recalls, this fair took place during the bad spell of weather with temperatures at a record -11 degrees with 10 inches of snow thrown in!

Taking all that into account, the people who braved the icy paths were very generous and enjoyed the fair. I am very pleased to say I sold 15 paintings, 5 of these were purchased by the local Parish Priest (2 of which were the set of paintings of the interior of Drimnagh Castle).

Thanks again to everyone who supported me at the Fair.
